Urr I haven't sign up or activate my Paypal account since last almost a year I got debit card from Maybank. Here is how to create Paypal account.
First of all you have to register for Maybankard secure online shopping. To do this please click here!
Then here HOW to sign up Paypal account. Simply fill in the form to create an account. Click here to SIGN UP!
Next, you'll have to confirm your email address. Paypal will send confirmation email to your email inbox.
After email confirmed; you'll need to add your credit or debit card before you can use your Paypal account. Click "Add Credit Card" and enter all your Maybank Visa Debit Card informations (Card number, valid thru date, etc).
Done this, you'll have to wait the bext day to continue confirmation process. Please note that Paypal will charge you RM10 for your credit/debit card confirmation and they'll return it back after your card confirmed.
After 24 hours, login to your Maybank2u and click on 'Accounts & Banking'.
Then click your account and click 'Debit card history'. There will be your 4-digit Paypal code on the statement.
Example: SALE XXXXPAYPAL--*EXPUSE DATED 23/06/10 (xxxx is your 4-digit Paypal code)
Finally, login to your PayPal and enter the 4-digit code to confirm your debit card.
